B&C Lawn Care is a company that specializes in landscaping services. They are experts when it comes to landscape decorations. B&C to offer services like heavy duty and light duty cover photo electric grass. They also have a wide array of landscaping ideas. These ideas range from simple landscape designs right up to innovative landscaping decoration. Their services include planting trees and flowers, building walkways and adding decking, decks and planters.
One innovative idea for landscaping B&Cs was the creation of a covered basketball court. The courts were made of heavy duty basketball paint with a clear coating over artificial turf. As the game was being played on the court the ice storm hit. This was a great idea because during the ice storm the players could stay inside the basketball court instead of going out onto the lawn.
Another idea for landscaping B&C lawn care is to create an outdoor swimming pool. This idea would have worked well during the winter but not so much during the summer time. During the summertime people tend to be more active and use the swimming pool more. For this reason it was necessary to cover the swimming pool during the summer. It would have been extremely difficult to make this work without an idea that incorporated an element of landscaping into the design. This idea was implemented by the company by creating an outdoor swimming pool design that incorporated the landscaping concept of landscaping.
Another idea for landscaping that proved difficult during the winter months was to create a bespoke design that incorporated a design that took the icy road into account. A simple way of thinking about this was to place a boundary around the driveway that prevented vehicles from making their way into the driveway. B&Cs lawn care then placed light coloured bricks on the edge of the driveway that matched the colour of the house. Bricks that matched the colour of the house were used to build up a brick border that was slightly higher than the grass verge to prevent vehicles from causing any damage to the lawn. The idea was to create a landscaping design that incorporated the icy road into the design and make it aesthetically pleasing and well designed.
There was one small issue with the design. When approaching the driveway, the icy road was expected to come into contact with the vehicle on the right. B&Cs lawn care decided to make this condition less likely to happen by placing some black plastic strips on the edge of the driveway. These strips ran along the edge of the driveway and then around the edge of the house and finally back towards the grass verge. This solved the problem but proved problematic for many individuals because it meant that the driveway was now an obstacle and could not be easily passed by automobile.
During the spring the icy road conditions were not going to change. Snow was still on the ground and there was still snow on the grass. B&Cs designed a new plan to solve these issues. Instead of placing more black plastic on the edge of the driveways they created what they called “traffic jam stripes” which consisted of three horizontal stripes that criss-crossed the entire length of the driveways.
The idea behind the traffic jam stripes was to create a design that was visually appealing yet harmless. Each of the three rows of yellow was between twenty and fifty feet apart. When approaching a traffic jam, a driver would need to stop and get out of the way before proceeding and each of the individual rows of yellow would represent three separate vehicles that were stopped. Once a vehicle was in place of the next one, it would simply move out of the way so that new traffic could approach the roadway. In addition to creating safer lane conditions, B&Cis hoped that this new approach would reduce the amount of vehicle involved in traffic jams.
After implementing the new design for their driveways, both B&C representatives were surprised at the increased number of traffic accidents that occurred. Surprisingly, it didn’t seem to be the number of drivers exiting to use the restroom that was increasing, but rather the number of drivers exiting to use the facilities was increasing. The explanation for this was simple; by creating three rows of yellow at the edge of each driveway, drivers were no longer blocking each other’s way. This simple implementation proved to be an effective short-term and long-term solution to increasing the safety of the morning commute for B&Cs lawn care customers.
